The Greek alphabet consists of 24 letters, each with a capital and lowercase form:

*The letter Óó has an additional lowercase form ò used in final position.

DIPHTHONGS

Diphthongs are two vowels having one sound. The diphthongs in the Greek language are the following:

ïõ	u/oo	ðïý; (where?)

COMBINATIONS OF CONSONANTS

In Greek there are some combinations of consonants that have only one sound:
