I currently teach language acquisition classes for children, but would love to teach or tutor individuals who are specifically interested in learning Swahili.     • Teaching approach: I use the communicative approach when teaching Swahili language. In communicative approach, I involve learners in real communication . They learn the language in a natural setting and this allows them to use the language and grasp the grammar aspect without having to memorize the rules.
    For instance, I can ask learner to find out personal information about the friends or family members. This kind of assignment involves meaningful communication because learners use actual information in their learning. The approach I focus on more learner-cente red approach and use authentic materials when teaching.
