My approach is the one that suits your most natural learning style (did you know that language students can be classified in auditive, visual, structure-lov ers and interactive?) , and takes into account your existing knowledge of Italian or other languages, grammar knowledge of your native language, available time to study, personal interests and points of contacts/brid ges to the Italian culture so that your learning process will be as organic and natural as possible. This doesn't mean you won't have to study :)
Once discussed your learning goals and the above, I will design your course and we will evaluate as we go. It is that simple and fun!

My method relies heavily on using Italian from the very first lesson. Use of English or Dutch will be very limited in order to encourage students to think actively in Italian from day 1. We will work a lot with audio and written texts and also with many spoken activities to develop fluency. We will also study grammar, but you will actively discover the rules using a variety of techniques. If you have a friend who also wants to learn please come together, a group lesson is by far more effective and fun than single lessons! For those who wish to learn piano as well we can combine the two learning experiences! |
