a fantastic teacher for my daughter Sabine has taught our 8 year old daughter for the past 2 years, and I must say that her French skills have improved a lot. Sofia is totally connected to her teacher - they have established a very close relationship and my daughter is not shy anymore when she has to switch to French language at school. Sabine uses varied child-friendly materials, and communicates very efficiently with parents too. She's a kind and patient teacher, with a very proactive and imaginative teaching approach. a patient and dedicated French teacher Sabine is a great teacher : she's organized, she has a remarkably clear accent, and she corrects mistakes gracefully without making me feel frustrated. she is always prepared and professional but also flexible enough to adjust to what I most need to work on. She suggested having our lessons mainly in French which I found intimidating at first but I got used to it very quiclky, and this resulted in a great improvement of my listenning skills. I like the fact that she types every difficult sentence on our shared whiteboard so I can spot and correct my mistakes easily - I also print and keep the google doc for future reference, and I do review my lessons once a week to memorize the vocab and sentence constructions. We’re doing writing as a homework, and she always gives me plenty of useful tips on formal and unformal French; I asked her to teach me some slang in French and we are currently working on it once a week. excellent teacher! Sabine is an excellent teacher. I was looking for a teacher who could give me conversational French lessons, as well as preparing me to the DELF B1, and one of my friends recommended Sabine. When we first spoke, I was a bit concerned about having online lessons but she was able to pitch the conversation at just the right level, correcting my (many !) mistakes, and giving plenty of encouragement at the same time. After my trial, she sent me her feedback and my personal lesson plan. I must say that I am thrilled with my progress. I had a very poor accent, and she helped me a lot, making intelligent corrections without being intimidating. I've gained confidence in speaking, learnt a lot of vocab, and .... French grammar makes more sense to me now! She is very clear, and works to understand exactly what I want to achieve. Her lessons are always clear, structured, with useful homework exercises and immediate e-mail replys to my questions in between lessons. She's patient, caring, and her lessons are always good fun! I can now have a (proper..!!) conversation in French, and I feel ready to take the DELF, thanks a lot Sabine! Add a follow-up message (Sabine André or Lucas only) |
