Teaching Experience

I hold a bachelor's degree from University of Technology Sydney, Australia and have more than 10 years of experience teaching students of all levels, working adults and also expatriates from other countries. I've been teaching in students' homes, offices, universities and tuition centers. I provide language courses (Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia), both written and conversationa l. I started my career as a language trainer in various tuition centers, institutions, homes and companies since my college life.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business (majoring in Marketing and IT) from the University of Technology, Sydney. I completed my ESL studies (English as Second Language studies) towards the South Australian Certificate of Education during her pre-U level. I've taught widely in many private institutions. I'm also a corporate trainer and has vast experience in the teaching and training of all 3 languages (Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English).
I've conducted Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia trainings for Matsushita Group of Companies in Malaysia, Transmarco Concept Sdn Bhd, Wijaya Baru International Medical Centre, AC Horizon Trading, Jaala Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, Blondal Sdn Bhd, Felda Holdings, etc
Besides the teaching of conversationa l Mandarin and other Mandarin- related courses, I've also conducted basic computing courses and English Courses (Conversation al English and Business Communication Skills).
Some of my career highlights:-
- Conducted the 64-hour Conversationa l Mandarin program to 30 employees from Felda Holdings (year 2011).
- Conducted the 32-hour basic Conversationa l Mandarin course to 2 groups (20 participants per group) of employees from Cagamas Berhad (year 2010).
- Completed a 3-level written Mandarin course for employees of Transmarco Concept Sdn Bhd (from April 2005 to March 2007).
- Conducted a 4-day IT Application programme to supervisors and junior executives of Matshushita on the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th of September, 2005.
- Facilitated a one-day training on Effective Business Communication for the Executives of AC Horizon Trading.
- Completed a 30-hour English Conversationa l course, which covered telephone techniques and customer service for a group (30 pax) of foreign security guards from Wijaya Baru International Medical Centre.
- Trained employees of Jaala Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Conversation al Mandarin Programme for both executive and non-executive levels-80 hours).
- Conducted a three month (from March to May 2005) Mandarin Conversation Course to a group of visiting expatriates from Sweden of Blondal Sdn Bhd in their office in Shah Alam.
- Conducted various holiday programmes for secondary students on how to study effectively, speed reading and enhancing memory.
- Conducted an expert review on Languamatic Machine Translation system (English & Mandarin)- year 2010)
- Currently, I'm conducting both written and conversationa l Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English courses to working adults (mainly expatriates)- one-to-one lessons and group lessons.
