I have taught English in High school and Middle school in Shanghai China for over 25 years. I was head of English department and supervisor of the teachers
for many years. This position involved curriculum review, support of teachers & students, and handling behavior problems. I have successful teaching experience to teach teenagers. I also have the experience for after school classes at weekend and I taught adults during my summer/winter holidays. I also make power point for the students to learn and practice their lessons after class. The students I taught in China respected me, and my students made progress rapidly. The top students were always from my class. I have received good teaching reports from those with whom I work in the U.S.I am now a tutor at Clark College and I have successfully tutored a student from China to pass the US citizenship text. I taught a family’s children Mandarin in Vancouver last summer. The children learned very well. The family already emailed me to teach their kids this summer. I am now tutoring an 8-year-old lovely girl who is learning Chinese in Grade Two in Portland International School. At the weekend and in the evening I am tutoring a college student who is studying Chinese in Portland University and I also teaching kids Chinese online. They are in Iowa, San Francisco, and Dublin.

I have taught English in high school and middle school in Shanghai China for over 25 years. I was an assistant of a middle school headmaster for many years.
I have a successful teaching background in educating teenagers. I also have experience in teaching after school and weekend classes. In addition, I taught adult classes during my summer/winter holidays.
I can make PowerPoint presentations for the students to learn and practice their lessons after class. My students have a history of making rapid progress. The top students were always from my class and I was a respected teacher in my school when I was in China. I am now living in the USA, and I am available to offer my skills to students worldwide. I enjoy teaching a great deal and that is the reason why I am offering my services at this time.
I am currently a tutor working at Clark College and I have successfully tutored a student from China to pass the U.S. citizenship test. I am also teaching several Vancouver children in one particular family on the subject of Mandarin and I also tutor a girl who is learning Chinese in Portland International School. They have all made rapid progress. Both of the families are happy with my teaching. In addition, I am teaching a college student Chinese; he is planning to go to Shanghai China after he graduates from college and he believes that my tutoring is helping him a lot.
