I think that language is not just a question of grammar or books. Language is communication and, especially in the first learning´s phases, it is very important that the body of the student and the environment around the student became involved in the learning. This is a simple example of my method: it is easier to learn the word “apple” with a real apple in your hand than just read the word or just look at a picture. It is important to remember that many studies show that children learn to speak interacting with world around them and using all five senses. When you have the ground of a language, you can continue to develop using book and grammar, but also speaking about issues that interest you because is simpler to learn speaking when we speak about something we care of. Your study program will always be adjusted around you and you alone.

Hi,
My name is Elisa Bastiani, I´m Italian but I live and study in Sweden. I´m mother tongue in Italian since I was born in Italy from an Italians family. I have a bachelor’s degree at University of Classical Studies (Laurea in Lettere Classiche) in Pisa and this is way I can teach also Latin. I´m actually studying my last year at Karlstad University in Sweden. When I´m became ready, I will have a bachelor’s degree at Teacher Education at Karlstad University. This is way I can teach also Swedish. I´m a happy person, easy to communicate with. I like animals and manga, and I like to chill with Netflix. I hope I can help you with your language development.

Teaching Experience

I have teaching experience both in Italy and in Sweden. I teaches both children and adults but I´m at my best with teenager. I can teach via zoom or any other digital platform.

I worked as teacher in High School in Italy. In Sweden I have 10 years’ experience teaching children year 14-18. I worked also with adults in schools for immigrant, both as beginners and advanced.

The first lesson is for free and it is just an introduction. The second lesson is half price because we run a test to just examinate your level. From the third lesson you must pay the fee after each lesson.
