Teaching Approach
My teaching approach may differ from others in a way that I do not encourage my students to learn just for the purpose of learning or mastering the language. I want them to learn and enjoy the beauty of the language, to remember and be able to use every new word that I will teach them by heart and not just for the sake of memorizing it. Most of us would like to learn only a certain part of a new language for a specific reason or purpose, but I would like to educate this language as a whole to the student, so he/she could fully interact with people of another race or ethnicity.
My lessons are special and designed base on each student's level and ability. I also prefer a friend to friend and or sister-brothe r/brother-sist er relationship when teaching, instead of the normal teacher-stude nt relationship. This is to create a more comfortable atmosphere of learning between both parties. Most students also forget new lessons after a day or two, thus in order to avoid this case, I am willing to do some follow-ups like initiating a daily or alternate weekday telephone conversation or chat with them (apart from the actual tutorial schedule) that we will have. As the saying goes, the best way to learn a language is to speak or use it often or if possible, everyday.

Program Description
My lessons and activities will vary depend on each student's level, needs, requirements and background and what he/she aims to achieve after each tutorial session.Norma lly I assess my student's skills and abilities first by giving them a simple test (follow their required topics, may it be something related to grammar, vocabulary, etc.) for me to determine on which part of that certain topic(s) I should focus more on. Moreover, I could also make use of different teaching tools and activities, such as introducing some games to make learning more efficient. In my experience of teaching some professionals , I noticed that they tend to learn faster if they are given handouts, worksheets and homework for each lesson, so I still plan to do the same. Books will also surely be used and if need of online assistance (for listening).

Teaching Experience
I had some teaching experiences as:
1. 2003 - 2006; During my high school years, our school had the annual program to help indigent children from public government schools and through this program, I had the opportunity to teach a class and tutor primary students. I taught them English and Math subjects.
2. 2010 - 2011; During my college years, I was chosen by our university to tutor English language for a group of Japanese exchange students from St. Thomas University, a school in Amagasaki, Hyogo, Japan (formerly known as Sapientia University or Eichi University). I also became their tour guide for their entire stay in the Philippines.
3. 2013 - present; As part of my job as an international business executive, I train and teach English language (focusing on business English) to some of my colleagues.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. As I am working as a full-time employee from Monday to Saturday, my available teaching schedule would be on Sundays only, preferably in the morning and afternoon only. Anyway, for the final schedule and venue, it could be discussed and finalized with the student later.
2. I prefer payment to be done after each session (by cash) or in case student plans to study for longer period, we could discuss to agree with a better payment policy, maybe pay in advance for how many days, weeks or months (by bank transfer or by cash, either way which is convenient for both parties).
3. I do not have any other relevant experience that makes me a more effective teacher, however I have some traits that make me a better teacher. I have a lot of patience when teaching, I do not give up easily and I make sure that my student understands each lesson properly. Moreover, I am flexible and can adapt well to different attitudes of the student and to any given situation.

Cost of Lessons

My teaching cost will vary depend on my student's needs and requirements, however my starting fee is Baht 400 - 500 per hour (for teaching both English and Tagalog). For any travel and material cost, I will cover for it. Anyway, for the final cost, I can discuss with the student directly.
