Teaching Approach
|
|
|
My teaching method can be summarized as follows: After determining student's knowledge level of Arabic grammar and words, focusing on what he/she needs to learn first to be able to read Arabic books and understand Arabic conversation.
Giving great emphasis on the main themes of Arabic grammar and then helping students to improve their vocabulary banks.
According to the level of my students, using Arabic language teaching books which are thought in Arab countries for the students of junior classes, secondary schools, high schools and universities.
While following Arabic language books along with my students, writing teaching notes by explaining the subjects to make them understood well and then sharing these notes with students after reorganizing them for students benefits.
Getting the benefits of multimedia materials when it is needed for some students to let them pronounce the words better.
Making good practices of communication s during the classes to let the students practice what they learn.

I have been teaching Arabic language since the beginning of my first year at the university in 1995. One of the most enjoyable things in my life is teaching Arabic language. I have got the first position in an Arabic language training program's certificate exam in a summer course given in Cairo/Egypt.
I did my master's in Tafseer department which requires great knowledge of Arabic, and then pursued my PhD at International Islamich University, Islamabad where the medium of education is Arabic, submitted my Ph.D thesis written in Arabic language and still waiting the decision of the university about my thesis.
Therefore , I have great experience of learning and teaching Arabic language and always wishing to meet the ones thirsty of knowledge of Arabic language to help them gain their target.

W HAT MAKES ME AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER: Every time teaching the language by my laptop by showing the screen throug a projector or TV screen to get the benefits of technology in education.

This helps students a lot because they may not catch everything that I teach during the class and they may not take proper notes of everything that I wrote during the class.
I use my previously prepared notes during my teaching activities, making them small booklets and sharing them with my students.
Giving them in this way weekly homeworks and checking their trues and falses in the next classes.
