Teaching Approach

I incorporate a lot of the culture and history of the language while learning to ensure that the student understand WHY certain things are said in a certain way. Worksheet are given and i correct any of your mistakes.

Program Description

My classes are small and interactive. I focus on teaching conversationa l language and proper grammar. You can get a lot further in a country if you just sound like you know what you are saying. I use a Korean grammar text book to help student. I am currently busy writing my own text book for beginners and intermediates .

Teaching Experience

My passion for teaching began when i was in Korea. I taught English as a second language for 2 years while i was learning Korean myself. I fell in love with the language and noticed that many south africans also want to learn. Sometimes the only thing someone needs to learn is a better method to follow and i hope to provide that method through my teaching.

A. I am available on weekdays any time after 4 pm and all day on Saturdays and non-Christian public holidays

A. EFTs are accepted as well as cash. Payments can be paid as you go or up front

Q. What other relevant experience makes you a more effective teacher?
A. I lived in Korea for 2 years and shared a home with Koreans which give me first hand experience with both their language and culture. During my stay in Korea I learnt much about the country's History.
Concerning Afrikaans I am a native speaker and i currently work at a school were afrikaans is taught as a second language.
