Teaching Approach

I am very interpersonal , empathetic, and creative. With that in mind, I want students to feel comfortable and confident in what they are learning. My programs and lessons will be unique a they focus on the individual rather than generic activities.

I also believe repetition and absorbing things such as films or music is incredibly important and want my students to work on their language skills outside of our conversations . And asking a lot of questions is incredibly important! Don't be shy! :)

Program Description

I am happy to teach you conversationa l English as well as grammar.
My lessons can be tailored to your personal interests - such as travel, work, or hobbies.
I can also help with editing essays and other academic content.

I have traveled to Asia several times (especially Japan), and have a background in Spanish in Portuguese, so if you come from locations with those languages, I might have more to offer you in our conversations .

Let's try to schedule a meeting every week, and do weekly assignments.
I teach art classes at a college, so I am always trying to find creative activities that help with learning something new.

Teaching Experience

Currently I am a professor teaching art classes to college students. I have also taught group English classes online and taught English in one-on-one sessions in person.

Teacher Training

I obtained my Masters degree in Art History from New York University.
I also received my teaching certificate in TEFL from Toronto University.
