Teaching Approach

My approach to teaching a foreign langues is based on a practical approach. Learning from textbooks and performing exercises is a good way to develop vocabulary, but context and interpretatio n of language can vary very much from what a textbook may say. I truly believe that introducing you to the cultural context English and Spanish provides confidence in the application of grammar and vocabulary.

As a native speaker of English and Spanish, I can understand the difficulties of learning one or the other, and as your teacher I can help you figure out how to navigate through these differences in a fun and engaging way!

Program Description

For basic learners I provide exercises to start developing the basics of communication such as the structure of sentences in English or Spanish.
*Te sts are given to measure your progress both written and verbally.
*U se of media is strongly used in my program. Such as the use of songs, movies, and literature.

For more intermediate/ advance students I provide a more cultural and conversationa l approach to advance your learning.
*Literature analysis and tests.
*Adva nced conversationa l exercises.
* Conversationa l and reading comprehension exercises.
