Elementary Spanish Tutoring
If your goal is to learn the fundamentals of the Spanish language I will focus on helping you to develop practical vocabulary, reading, writing and conversationa l skills based on your preferred career path, goals or daily activities. You will also learn basic grammar and the construction of basic sentences that you will be able to use in your daily interactions with Spanish speakers.
Intermediate Spanish Tutoring
For those with a level of Intermediate Spanish I will help you gain advanced skills in such areas as: speaking, reading and writing in Spanish to reinforce your command of the language and expose you to basic elements of Spanish culture. You will also review grammar and will increase your vocabulary and will continue learning new words related to your field of interest. Attention will be given to listening comprehension as well. You will practice by asking questions and conversing in Spanish.
C onversational and Business Spanish Tutoring
In this Spanish language tutoring you will be assisted so that you can improve your conversationa l Spanish skills. We may discuss current events in the Spanish language. We will discuss articles and prepare presentations based on your interests and strictly related to your job or studies of choice. Many conversation classes also include vocabulary and grammar lessons and may have a written component.
I n your sessions, I will enthusiastica lly and patiently help you learn Spanish with its rich and lively cultural expressions and to cultivate other valuable learning skills such as: personal reading, listening and remembering, studying, doing research, analyzing and organizing, conversing, answering questions, and putting thoughts down in writing in the Spanish language.

I have been providing instructional assistance and Spanish interpreting and translation services for about 12 years in United States. I also engage in volunteer activities, and have the experience of living and instructing in South East Asia and Latin America. For that reason, I have assisted students of different ages, backgrounds and cultures not only to increase their Spanish language vocabulary, but also improve their language comprehension , reading and conversationa l skills.

My regular schedule is 6AM to 12 pm and 5pm to 10 pm USA Eastern Time. However, if you have specific needs adaptations can be made to my schedule.

Your first lesson is free and will last 30 minutes.

The tutor knows that every student has a specific budget and will adapt accordingly. However, average lessons range from $10 to $25 per hour.
How quickly does the tutor respond?
Ema ils are usually checked after 10 AM, Eastern USA time. Please allow at least 2 hours for me to respond.
A re you a native Spanish speaker?
Yes , I am a native Spanish speaker and also speak excellent English. I grew up with both languages.
What should I do if I won’t be able to take the planned lesson?
When you become aware that you will not be able to participate in a scheduled lesson, please try to inform your tutor as far in advance as possible by rescheduling or cancelling your lesson 4 hours in advance of the scheduled start time.
What will happen if a lesson does not take place?
If your lesson does not take place for any reason, I will provide a full refund or a lesson replacement.
Can you travel to my country for a few months to help me learn Spanish to coach me for an important business presentation or a career opportunity?
Yes, I might be able to visit your country to assist you. However, details and payment of expenses must be discussed professionall y.
