Teaching Approach

The approach differs depending the students needs. If the students is a beginner we start building a basic vocabulary and then we start learning grammar and syntax. I use text and examples that fit to the personal interests of the student (history, arts, sports etc.). For more advanced students that need preparation for a Greek language certificate we perform speed-lessons .

Program Description

The program is for students, adults or children, that either want to learn to speak and write in order to communicate in Greek or they want to study in a Greek university.

Teaching Experience

I am working more than 10 years as a Greek language teacher. I especially work with migrants and foreign students as a private tutor.

Teacher Training

I have a bachelor degree in the History & Philosophy of Science and I had mi Masters degree in Science Education. I' ve worked to the SOS Child Villages as a pedagogue and a tutor for refugees.

- How do you determine a students level?

The student must give the test which is the official test that gives Language Certification from the Greek state.

- How many lessons per week?

It depends the level and the needs of the student.
For example: A beginner who wants to be able to speak and write in basic Greek in 6 months may need 3 lessons per week.

- How many hours is the lesson?

No rmally is 1 hour and a half

- In which ways can you perform the lesson?

No rmally via Skype or any other similar application in afternoon hours (local time). If not possible we can arrange a different lesson plan designed for each students depending his/her needs.
