My teaching approach is "old school" well tested to bring results. I believe that langueges do have a very logical structure and an inner core a "spirit" , and that is the most important to students to try to comprehend.
Foundation is grammar, or we can say the grammar is the skeleton, vocabulary is the muscle structure. I like to focus on laying strong foundation with grammar, and on strong foundation vocabulary and conversation comes easy. I also believe in conveying cultural values, history, literature, art , and everyday wisdom, customs of Hungary to the students.

I offer Hungarian language lessons and training for interested students, with or without Hungarian background. Hungarian is a small country, with 10 million speakers in Hungary and a few more millions speak Hungarian as native language in the historical territories. Hungary is becoming an economic, business and educational hub in Central Europe. Many US companies are investing in Hungary, and several universities offer education for foreign students, such as University of Medicine, Liszt Ferenc Music Academy, Eotvos Lorand University, however education is in English it is definitely useful to obtain basic colloquial Hungarian knowledge before relocating to Hungary. I do speak several foreign languages myself, and understand very well the major difficulties foreign students struggle mastering a foreign language.

I have been teaching English, and Japanese to children and adults in Hungary for more than 10 years, My private students were always successful reaching their goals,such as getting better grades at school or being accepted to language faculty at a secondary grammar school or university. In the US I have been tutoring Hungarian for a few businessman preparing to go to Hungary,a nd a few 2.3. 4, generation Hungarians .

I am doctor of legal and political sciences with a diploma from Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest.
Al so I hold highest grade state board language exams of the English and Japanese as foreign language. More than 30 years of experience as interpreter/t ranslator
