Teaching Approach

Firstly, I am a Native Englishman from London. Now in my 50s and well qualified in Business studies and English with a diploma in English business studies. So I really do know my English. I understand the problems associated with learning English especially in the areas of pronunciation and spoken word.
Next, My wife is also English and a teacher which means between us we can help all ages and levels.
We also have our classroom where we prefer to work if possible as we have teaching aids there to make the learning more fun.

Program Description

I offer both one to one tuition and class work either at your home or at my classroom in montecanal area of zaragoza. My wife is also a teacher and works more with beginners and children. I specialize in pronunciation and conversation skills and business studies. We feel our lessons are fun and learning. All levels are taught from beginner upwards. Grammar, written and conversation with emphasis on pronunciation are our key areas.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching for 14 years but newly arrived here in Spain. My experience is all in the U.K. working in the financial and business world teaching staff and executives business english and structure.
S ince being here we have gathered some students for tuition and they have all come from recommendatio n locally.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are our teaching schedule and arrangements?

The first meeting defines what we will teach and is agreed with the student. We complete some simple tests to see the level of our student and agree what is required over a set period. We agree and sign a short contract which agrees all the content and costs.

Wha t is our payment policy?

We usually take payment at the end of each lesson not in advance. However, if a course of intensive training is agreed with more that 2 hours a week we may take payments in advance and weekly. This is all open to agreement and we try and be flexible where we can.

What do we ask from our students?

That they are serious about learning. Prepare when we request and do homework if it is given. If they cannot attand a lesson we ask that we are sent an email or text to tell us and well in advance please.

Cost of Lessons

Prices are negotiable. As a guide one to one tuition at our address is 18euros an hour. Classroom work in groups starts at 10 euros an hour.
