I am writing to pursue a job in your company I have completed my MBA in 2011, from a renowned university of Pakistan, namely "Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi Pakistan", with Marketing as major. Currently I'm doing a part time Post Graduate Diploma in Business in Enterprise Development from Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. I respectfully submit my application as I believe my excellent academic career and interest in this field of Marketing make me perfectly qualified to become a part of your prestigious organization.
During my degree I acquainted myself with good communication and presentation skills, innovative and creative marketing techniques, customer oriented marketing strategies, planning and achievement of short and long term goals and a lot more by means of the courses I studied during this period, presentations , practical assignments, and through participation in seminars and a number of career development programs. Being a prominent student, I was honoured a number of times to organize several events on different occasions, seminars conducted by various interest groups and also media participation to represent my university. Of course it’s worth mentioning that all these participation added remarkable experience to my resume.
As part of my education program I worked on a number of projects and accomplished positive results and good grades due to their feasibility, practicality, cost effectiveness and ease in implementatio n. I would like to mention a few here;
1-“People React to the Image of Reality but not Reality”, this is how a product gains customer attention through proper advertisement and marketing on the right place and right time.
2- Research conducted on “Tourism Downfalls in Pakistan due to Terrorism & Violation by Pakistan News Media”, in Marketing Research course. Developed the demographics and other need based statistical analysis of the sampled population.
3- Research on “Impact of Scent Marketing” in course of Consumer Behavior, enabled me to identify different buying behaviors of costumers with/without a scent.
4- Posted blogs, articles and other commercial infotainment online on several e-pages, namely "Aitchsm" and other social networking websites, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc.
I graduated in 2009 from “Sindh National Textile College & Management Sciences”. My subjects really helped me a lot in pursuing myself further in Marketing by providing me with the aesthetic sense, creativity, and imagination required at various levels in this field. I also was given the opportunity to participate and organize a few fashion shows and other events conducted by my Institute which once again brought immense knowledgeable unmatched experience for me.
During my job in City Kindergarten, I was involved in Maintaining, arranging, monitoring the library and library accounts and records. Conducting story telling sessions. As an Office Assistant I was needed to schedule and arrange meetings, lunches, taking minutes of every meeting, maintaining timetables, liaising with the staff and higher management, attending phone calls and a lot more office work at the same time.
My internship in Dawn Media Group, fully equipped me with the skills of administratio n of Nation-wide Spelling Bee Competition 2012, in order to assist the applications, and students forms of schools and updating the school database. Helped in promoting Spider's (internet magazine) sale by generating leads through calling out the old subscribers list, and convincing the clientele to renew their subscription.
