I am an enthusiastic teacher with a strong desire to have a career working with young children or adults. I have 14 years of teaching experience in both Syria and the United Kingdom. My position involved working very closely with English / Arabic as second language students to develop their language skills, with the aim of helping them to learn how to communicate successfully in English / Arabic. Not only to teach English in English, but also to exploit the genuine communicative situation that arises in the classroom for meaningful language practise, and to allow plenty of time for oral production activities after the practise stages of the lesson.
