During my seven year job as a private teacher, I have taught pre-school, elementary, as well as middle and high school diverse students from various nationalities . Being the teacher at the same time meant that I was also responsible for all the assisting preparation that is required before the lesson, especially for the pre-school and elementary school students. My main assisting tasks would include creating projects, teaching material and handouts for students within the age group of three to ten years. I have also compiled a number of PowerPoint presentations on various topics and subjects for students in the age group of twelve up to eighteen. I have had the opportunity to fill in as a substitute and teach children in the absence of the concerned teaching staff. During my nine month internship to several public schools in Athens, offered by my University, I have had the chance to personally assist the teachers in to preparing the learning material as well as to participate myself in the teaching procedure, having the liberty to form the lesson according to my educational perspectives and purposes.
Neverthel ess, any kind of flexibility on the teaching methodology is possible, depending on student's needs and purpose.
