Teaching Approach

“Teaching is not just a work/ profession or even a vocation, it is a responsibilit y”. Responsibilit y that have been rooted from the experiences of every one of us, sometimes we cannot deny the fact that we need to penetrate our students’ personal lives in order to connect our lessons significantly , in this concept, we are now doing the deepening-- you cannot strengthen the growing plant if you have just planted the seeds on a shallow ground, that’s why you need to deepen your digging in order to build a strong foundation. I will continue to do the same method throughout my teaching career, maybe it is too personal or inappropriate for an educator to enter their students’ personal lives but this is one of the effective ways because you are planting the seeds which can be their fruit or weapon in the future. As part of my personal program, I will try not to speak or just lessen the time speaking my student's native language in order for him/her to get more familiar with the language and acquire more vocabularies. I will also introduce the science of language (Linguistics) -- for translation purposes. Also open for immersion concept, if requested by the student.

Program Description

Bilang isa sa mga nagpapakadalu bhasa sa pag-aaral ng Wikang Filipino, isa sa mga pangunahing balakid sa pag-aaral ng sariling wika ay ang tanong na "Paano makasasabay ang Wikang FIlipino sa nagbabagong mundo?" Simple lamang ang sagot ko sa tanong na ito, Hindi maaaring pagsabayin ang isang bagay sa napag-iwanan na ng panahon, sa puntong ito, ang naiwan ay ang Wikang Filipino. Sisimulan ko ang programa sa kasaysayan ng wika at kung bakit mahirap nang makapagsalita ng purong Filipino (Tagalog) sa kasalukuyang panahon. Sasaklawin din ng programa ang paggamit ng tamang balarila at kung paano mas magiging epektibo ang pakikipagtala stasan ng isang banyaga sa mga Pilipino gamit ang modernong Wikang Filipino.
