I'm teaching, I usually use communicative methods, where by a student is required to speak most of the time. I am experienced teacher, I taught Swahili at University of Florida for year 2013/2014
So I used the communicative method and it went very well.

Ninafundisha Kiswahili kwa watu mbali mbali na makundi mbalimbali kuanzia hatua ya mwanzo kabisa.
Pia ninafundisha vipindi vya jioni kutengeneza na muda wa mwanafunzi.
