Teaching for me is one of the most important tasks and I approach it with lots of energy. Each class must be designed for a particular student if it is to be effective, and must be enjoyable if the student is to maintain commitment.

I am an experienced teacher of English including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and general English, having taught in a Chinese High School, two universities and language schools for over 20 years. I also teach Business English and have the unique advantage of having been a CEO of a large company and having an MBA. My programme is very task-based to ensure that students learn what they need/want to learn and that they can use their new learning appropriately

I have been a teacher in two universities for a total of 12 years and most recently have been teaching in a Senior High School in China. I have also taught young people and adults in various language cemtres

I have a B.A in Politics and Sociology, an M.Sc in Sociology, an M.A. in Applied Social Studies and an M.B.A. I am a qualified Social Worker, a qualified counsellor and have a Certificate in Buddhist studies and a TEFL qualification .
