I am able to deliver clear and well structured lessons focused entirely on your English - not mine! I match the lesson content correctly to peoples needs/wants. It is my ability to sound letters and blends correctly that makes me necessary. Learning all of them is easy when practiced correctly and regularly with a native speaker! I am able to explain simply syntax and improve understanding of verb conjugations. Through inventive teaching I aid students in building their own sentences. I have an excellent base of websites, online games and worksheets that will help support learners.

I am a native English teacher from Hertfordshire . I have 16 years experience as a primary and Secondary school teacher and my last post was a deputy head in the UK. I am now living in Gran Canaria and working in a private bilingual school. I have taught both children and adults and have a great wealth of experience and resources prepared to support teacher EAL learners. Trained as a secondary drama teacher, at the Central School of Speech and Drama, I am confident in my ability deliver well paced and imaginative lessons. I have a great deal of skill in exam preparation. In my lessons I listen, question and aid but NEVER do all the talking! That is your job!
