Teaching Approach

Motto for my teaching style: “Tell me, and I forget. Show me, and I will remember. Involve me, and I will understand.” I use communication activities to teach grammar. When teaching,I set up situations that my students are likely to encounter in real life. In the classroom, emphasis is on oral and listening skills.

Program Description

For 4 years I was a part of the U.S. Peace Corps training team in Ukraine. As a language and cross-cultura l trainer I led groups of novice adults (newly arrived Americans) to functional proficiency in the Russian language in 12 weeks.
