Teaching Approach

I find out how the students operate by testing what approach of learning is preferred and use my creativity to energise the student. I like to use video/audio recording of British shows as a means to engage the student and demonstrate the relevancy of the language taught and give them a taste of British everyday culture.

Program Description

My lessons are geared to be short and snappy in order to maintain enthusiasm and concentration . The lessons are tailored to suit the needs of the students and enable them to make the most of the lesson. Occasionaly, it will entail games to break up the pattern of learning.

I have taught a cumulative of a year's experience in Africa and Asia to students of all ages.

TEFL certified, Courses completed in Core Skills for Working in Conflict and Introduction to Election Observation.

Frequently Asked Questions

The teaching schedule is relatively flexible but will insist on payment upfront for the first 10 lessons. If number of lessons requested are shorter, I will want money paid upfront, however, once trust is built between myself and the student, the payment policy can be far more flexible with payment after every few lessons. The more lessons bought upfront will mean a bigger discount for the learner.
Wha t makes me a more effective teacher is that I have worked in various multicultural context in the UK and I understand immediately learners of English struggle with. I am flexible to the student's needs and will work to ensure that learning English is an enjoyable experience as opposed to a chore.
