Teaching Approach

Helping someone to master another language takes confidence and much practice. For me the best thing to do is study, learn as much as you can, different vocabulary and meanings and put it into practice with every day life. I will try to help the student build confidence and practice converstation al english with them in everyday situations.

Program Description

I will use interactive conversationa l approach. I feel that being comfortable with speaking and interacting with any native language it is important to feel comfortable and learn to put what you learn into practice.
We would go over vocabulary, grammar and converstaion and pronounciatio ns. I would speak to the student to see what is it they are looking to work on and help them build on that. Together we could help build the lessons plans.

Teaching Experience

I am not a teacher nor do I have a degree in teaching but for the past half of year I tutor grade 3 and 4 from portuguese and spanish decent, in english and math.
I am currently also tutoring adults with conversationa l english and grammar.
I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about new cultures and enjoy helping people to learn as much as they can.
I think that conversation with a native speaker of English like myself is a good way for foreigners to build confidence and learn every day life.

Frequently Asked Questions

I work full time 9-5 so I would be available anytime after 5:30 during the week nights. I would have to work out a schedule and try to accommodate for the student the best that I could.

Pay ment policy could be determined with meeting the student, I am pretty flexible and easy going this way.

I am easy going and pretty approachable person and enjoy all different cultures and helping people to learn.
