Teaching Approach

When I propose to teach the Latin language, I try in the first place
to inspire in the student that studium (zeal, passion) without which
no study of any kind can hope to prosper. Lessons must be lively and
memorable. To this end I prefer the Orberg method and an emphasis on speaking, but with five years' experience of a number of teachers, methods and texts, my approach to perfect fluency, above all in reading, is flexible. All points of grammar and vocabulary are covered.

Program Description

I am willing to teach from beginners to undergraduate s.
All aspects of grammar and vocabulary covered.
We begin by looking at what the student feels he/she needs help in,
otherwise I can recommend texts suitable for any level of
proficiency .

Teaching Experience

2011-12 - I recited occasional classes with secondary school students at a school in Rome.

Teacher Training

2007-2008 - private tuition in Latin
2009-2 011 - studying Latin at undergraduate level
2011-2 012 - nine months' intensive/imm ersion course
at a school in Rome, Italy, where teaching
experience was acquired.
