Graduate Education:
• 2009 to 2010 – Master of Arts in Intercultural Anglophone Studies in the University of Bayreuth, Germany. My major was “Variations of English all over the World,” “Germanic Comparative Linguistics,” and “English Phonetics and Phonology.” In April 2010, I passed all of the necessary tests and examinations, received the needed credits and defended the necessary course papers. I helped German students, who were studying Russian, with their Russian speaking skills, phonetics, and grammar.
• November 2008. I took an iBT TOEFL test and scored 107 points (out of the maximum 120), which showed my advance level of the English language command and practical skills.
• 2006 to 2009 – I was awarded a Diploma of a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (approximate equivalent to a Master of Education) from the Department of Foreign Languages in the Yaroslavl State Teacher Training University. My major was “Teaching English as a Foreign Language.” My course paper was devoted to “The Traditions of National Poetry in the Works by Robert Burns.” I passed all of the exams successfully and received a diploma with honors. I participated in several scientific conferences and won top places for the studies performance.
• 2003 to 2006 – I was awarded a Diploma of a Teacher Department of Foreign Languages (approximate equivalent to a Bachelor of Education) from the Department of Foreign Languages in the Yaroslavl State Teacher Training College. In addition, I received a certificate in Teaching German as a Foreign Language. My Bachelor’s Thesis paper was devoted to the investigation of “the Implementatio n of the Lingua-Cultur al Studies in Teaching.” I passed all of the exams successfully and received a diploma with honors. I participated in sports tournaments, scientific conferences, and scholarship competitions and won top places in most of them.
• 20 04 to present day. I have been attending American English courses delivered by American Christian missionaries, who’re serving in the Russian Federation.
