Teaching Approach

I have been a senior lecturer in a university in China for nearly 15 years. Several years of experience in teaching foreign students basic Chinese(Manda rin)have brought to my attention the needs for a simple and practical modern Chinese grammar for beginners of Chinese as a foreign language and I know how to provide various exercises and examples to the students.

Program Description

I am a native Chinese in England. My Chinese(Manda rin) is excellent and fluent to National Standard Certificate and I once was the host of a local radio station for more than one year. My previous work included more than two years¡¯ Chinese teaching to foreign students in a university and more than 3 years¡¯ as a writer and translator for the local newspapers and the magazines nationwide. I would love to teach Chinese to students who are keen on Chinese learning.

Teaching Experience

From Sep. 1988 to Jan. 2004 I have been working in Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing, China; (Ranked in the top Political Science and Law Universities in China)as a senior lecturer of Contemporary Chinese Politics and Economy, Sociology and Chinese language teaching to foreign students.
Gave lectures and assessment to all grades of undergraduate student as well as adult education at all levels.

Teacher Training

Bachelor¡¯s degree in Art Philosophy (Aesthetics)i n Nanjing University, China and Post-graduate on normal school and higher education in Southwest Pedagogical University in Chongqing, China.
