Teaching Approach

My classes are fun, humorous and interesting. We can talk about our hobbies, cultures and experiences. I am from Jamaica, the land of Bob Marley, reggae music, Blue mountain coffee, beautiful beaches and a rich culture. I am waiting for your email or phone call so we can enjoy using English.

Program Description

The first lesson with me will be free so you have nothing to loose. My lessons are fun and informative.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching English in Japan since 2007 at students' homes and public schools. I really enjoy meeting my students and talking about our experiences. I have learnt so much from them. I hope I can continue to do this for as long as possible. It is really a joyous experience.

I have a University degree from The University of the West Indies (BA) in European History.
I am a former JET.
I am enrolled in a TEFL course to be completed in September.

Why my lesson?

As a Jamaican I believe I have something to offer that most students are not used to. Jamaica's culture is a little different from other English speaking country's. I plan to use this to my advantage and offer students fun and unpredictable lessons.
Add itionally I am a lover of all sorts of music. I believe that music is the universal language which can be used to learn other languages. My lessons will incorporate music from popular artistes such as Lady Gaga, Lill Wayne, Bob Marley and others.
