Dear potential student,
I n addition to being an English>Russi an and Russian>Engli sh translator, editor, consultant & teacher and also the Founder & Director of Comprehensive Book Translation Services, I am the author of an innovative and informative, practical and entertaining book which is aimed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills required to read, write, and speak in Russian.
I f you combine reading this book (which contains 340 pages in PDF format and can be purchased by you just for $10) with my lessons on Skype, you will gradually achieve your task in the most practical and enjoyable way possible.
In order not to be dependent on the physical distance between the teacher and student, I suggest to conduct our teaching/lean ing sessions on Skype.
Skype lessons are even more effective than face-to-face sessions, because:
1. the student does not need to spend any time (and money) for travel;
2. no external factors will distract us (we don't even need to use a video camera)
Wh ereby, like during a face-to-face lesson, we can talk and, at the same time, write words and sentences both in English and Russian (in the Skype message window); plus, if and when required, I can quickly send you any file with a useful information. One of my students lives in Sydney, and he has been thoroughly enjoying my Skype lessons since June 2011.
I charge $40 per hour, however if the lesson has taken less or more than 1 full hour, you will pay in proportion to my hourly rate (the exact duration of our talk will be automatically recorded on Skype). The payment for each previous lesson should be made before the start of the next lesson.
