I feel that a teaching approach has to be based more on how the student learns and understands language rather than on how I think one should learn. Therefore, I make it my first priority to find out what level the student is on and how he or she understands the foreign and his or her first language. Through trying many teaching approaches in the beginning, I hope to be able to find the one which suits the student most appropriately . However, I also think it is important to explain the relationship between the 1st and 2nd language and how they relate and differ from one another.

Program Description

I base my program depending on what level the student is on and what he or she would like to learn. I do have a deep understanding of the German language and grammar. Each student learns languages differently. I tend to get a better idea of how to approach lessons, programs and activities through understanding the student's learning process. As a teacher, this is my first objective.
