Most importantly, I am very patient and tailor my lessons to the individual's ability to learn a foreign language. I let the student set the pace of learning. My goal, however, is to teach as much as I can to that student within the given time frame. I cover not only grammar and usage, but incorporate relevant cultural and economic data as well.

Program Description
|

I offer individual and group lessons for all levels of knowledge in Russian. For High School students, I will be using Fairfax County, VA Russian Language teaching cirriculum, where I work as a sub Russian Language Teacher, and will provide teaching materials to my students.
For adult students, I will be following the guidelines for intensive teaching that are used at a Foreign Languages Institute where I work (my students are primarily from the State Department).

I have tutored Russian for 2 years for a large web-based tutoring company and have worked as a substitute Russian Language Teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools System in VA. I also now work as a Russian Instructor at a foreign languages institute where we teach adult learners from the State Department. I have only received great reviews from my students.
