Teaching Approach

I have a very flexible teaching style and prefer to adapt to the student's needs and abilities rather than forcing them to adapt to mine. I love English in general and I also love exposure to different cultures.
I'm very flexible for both hours and days and I'm willing to work around the student's schedule. So if you're ready to teach me something about your culture, I'm ready to teach you some English!

Program Description

I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Arizona. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English and I'm also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I'm also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the national English honor society and the National Scholors Honor Society. I work hard but I like to have fun too.
Language is fluid and dynamic. These types of characteristi cs should be used when teaching English. If the lessons are too rigid, difficult and boring- the student won't learn and will eventually become discouraged. I DON'T want that to happen.

Teaching Experience

I earned my teaching English as a foreign language certificate in the fall of 2008. I have also tutoredfor literacy volunteers while attending school as an undergraduate in New York.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm very flexible toward the student's needs. I'm free Monday through Friday from 1PM-9PM, June 1st through August 21st.

Cost of Lessons

I charge $15 dollars per hour. However, for two students- $25, for three students $35 and for fours students- $40 per hour.
