My student from U.S.A
She is an English school teacher in Shibuya, Tokyo. She is planning to take JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) coming this autumun. She couldn't make herself understood in her native language at her English lesson. Some understood her Englishb but others did't understand all her only speaking English lesson. She was compelled to use English all the time in her lesson. So she decided to learn Japanese. Sh e have studied Japanese for herself but she gave up learning. She got known me. We used a textbook "Japanese for busy people." I customized some other materials which was useful and effective to her. Each mini test has proven to motivate her. Surely she will not flunk JLPT this time.
My student from U.S.A
She is an employee of Japanese company and got married to Japanese structual engineer some years ago. Occasionarr y they call at his parents with kids. She can not communicate with her Japanese parents in spite of their kids chatting with them. She feel sorry. I taught her formal Japanese and casual expression that would help her intimate with them
My student from England
He is an engineer of British Company in Yokohama. He often makes a presentation in Japanese partner company. The number of collegues who can make presentation in Japanese is increasing nowadays. So , he made up his mind to learn Japanese for his presentation in Japanese. He wites some dialogues in English and I translate them into Japanese. We practiced having conversation using the dialogue s. He finally did Japanese presentation last June.
My student from China
He is 17 years old. He have lived in Japan for two years but he could not speak Japanese at all. His parents have worked for Chinese company in Tokyo. He gradually feels embarassing,n ot comfortable in his Chinese school and would like to come back to China. I was introduced him by his parents and started learning Japanese. Now he shows interests in Japanese poverbs and idioms which are very close to both languages. J apanese and Chinese proverbs are indeed, "Breaking the ice."
My friend from Australia ( On line lesson)
He was an English teacher who was also a maths teacher in Australia. Although he was enjoying staying in Japan, he was using English all the time and starting to wonder what he had achieved there. He suddenly felt that he had to learn Japanese before going back to Australia and started to talk to Japanese people in Izakaya (local pub) but realized that he did not even know how to introduce himself in Japanese. He also wanted to talk to Japanese people when traveling around, so I produced some other materials to cover those situations. My students from Philippines I once had some two-months intensive course for them who work as nurse in Tohoku area, Japan. I taught them how to takl to the aged and their superiors. T hey are working at the hospital in Japan.

He even didn't know common Japanese things. He didn't go to Senior high school in Japan so that he could not even take exam.of junior high school. I had a special program for him to be able to speak like ordinar y 12 year-boy would talk. 4 years passed. Now he is working for the boxed lunch shop.
