I would like to learn Burmese because I have an interest in the culture. Also, I hope to travel there in the future.
I have a very basic conversationa l level. I cannot read or write. I would like to learn the alphabet, reading, writing and I would like to improve my speaking skills. Speaking Burmese is my primary goal, but I know a grasp of the alphabet is crucial in this.
I would like to study 1 to 5 hours each week, depending on trainer availablity.
I would like a kind, caring teacher who is very patient. I would like him/her to have high expectations for me and push me to succeed.

I am an absolute beginner. I would like to learn the burmese language so that I could teach the bible's hope for a paradise earth for all of mankind to the burmese. i'm interested in learning burmese. Mostly conversationa l. My fiance is from Burma and he will be gone for a few months. I promised I would learn it while he was gone. To whom it may concern
I am enquiring about receiving tutoring in learning to speak Burmese. I have no experience in speaking Burmese so am therefore a beginner.
Th e reason I wish to learn Burmese is I work voluntarily along the Thai/ Burma border with refugee and migrant women. their common language is primarily Burmese.
I would like to start out with one lesson a week, it will depend on how much it costs.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is patience, organisationa l skills and flexibility. My aim is to communicate not to write essays in Burmese so I would like a practical class that involves speaking.
