I am wanting to learn Nepali.
My husband is Nepali and I have many family members in Nepal (Kwoteshor/ Pepsi Cola) who speak little to no English, namely my beloved Mother in law.
I can speak basic, but need my nepali book on hand or I am not confident enough to use what I do know, so I am very much a beginner.
My ultimate aim is to become quite profient in the Language, so I can communicate with family and Nepali friends with confidence and avoid the feeling of isolation when socialising in Nepali circles.
I am happy to devote as much time as required, also work full time so evenings and weekends are more preferable.
In regard to what qualities I am looking for in my teacher, I hope he/she would be patient but also someone who who would make the learning both enjoyable and informative.

MY daughter is adopted from Nepal. She has recently asked for Nepali lesssons. Normally we live in Canada but in February and March we will be in Sydney in the Rocks area. I would like lessons with a fun woman for her 3 days a week. We could continue these lessons if they worked out on Skype.

i have been learning very slowing for the past 3 years by myself off the internet and books i no all the basics but no script or nepali alphabet .
