A Finnish national looking to learn Estonian quickly.
Proficien cy level: Beginner in spoken Estonian but due to my Finnish mother tongue I already understand a lot.
Why: Started a new job here in Tallinn and by the summer it will have a big customer service aspect to it.
Improv ement Areas: Conversation, grammar, vocabulary
Time: I would be able to dedicate 1.5 hours about 2-3 evenings (after 17:30) a week (depending on the workload).
Teacher Qualities: I am looking for a teacher that can provide a structured lesson plan that will help me to pick up the language as soon as possible to advanced conversationa l level.

I wish to learn Estonian. I live in Tapa and plan to live and work here. I have a backround in teaching and was offered a position as an English teacher. I have a modest vocabulary and wish to become as close to fluent as possible by May. I can get by at the store and around town but wish to converse with my husbands family and friends. Right now we are using 'baby talk' and I feel I am offending them by not being able to speak with them like and adult. I cannot drive to the capital everyday so learning through Skype and chat would be the best option. Thank you in advance!
