I lived and worked in thailand for about 4 years and can speak conversationa l Thai to a reasonable standard. I can also read and write and have a good grasp of the tonal system. I wish to improve my thai language as I plan to return to live in Thailand during the next year or so. I would like to improve my spoken thai, grammar, build vocabulary and improve my general fluency. As I work full time, I will be limited to studying only one or two hours a week, evenings or weekends. I would like the lessons to be well structured and challenging. Thanks, Derwen Gibson.

definatley a begginer, have picked up many words but haven't got much of an idea how to introduce them into a conversation, would be prepared to dedicate 2-4 hours per week not looking for miracles but would be happy for starters just to string a few basic sentences together and to understand a bit of what was being said to me when i visit my girlfriends home.

I am a complete beginner and am looking to learn Thai as a hobby after visiting Thailand several times over the last few years. I am also thinking of possibly looking for work in Thailand and going out there to live for a short time. I have started to learn the language using a book and CD course, but feel that one to one tuition with a native Thai speaker would be beneficial. I would like to learn to speak and read the language.
I would ideally like to have lessons one evening per week, and would be happy for private or group lessons.
