Qu alities in a teacher would be
Patient , good lesson plans, homework set, and strict demeanour to see that work is completed as I can tend to become distracted with other things.
So a teacher who insists that the work is completed and stands for no messing about would assist me greatly. This would keep learning Swahili top of the a gender each week for me.
I would prefer a female teacher,

I have attended a Swahili beginners evening class in 2006. Spent time in Tanzania in late 2006 and then returned in 2007 and lived there with a local family for 4months. I have quite a lot of vocab, but pronounciatio n needs a lot of work and sentence structure and verb agreement etc.
I am wanting to earn Swahili for career advancement and as I intend to return to conduct some research.
I need to improve my conversation, pronounciatio n and grammar. My reading and writing is poor but I would prefer to work on conversation first.
I am looking to dedicate a few hours a week at the minute.
