I am looking gain some proficency in Swahili. I am a complete beginner, as I have never seen or heard the language before. I am moving to Calgary starting in September and I would like to find a teacher or school which teaches Swahili. I am only just beginning but will be traveling to East Africa in the Summer of 2005 and would like to have basic proficiency. I will be studying as a graduate student but would still ike to dedicate abour 4 hours of teaching per week. i would really appreciate any help in locating a way for me to learn the language.
