I wish to learn punjabi as all of my family are native speakers and its about time i learnt. My friend also wants to learn with me and she is the same age and lives in the same area. I want to learn from beginner level as well as my friend in terms of conversation not so much reading or writing.

I am wanting to learn Punjabi. I am Sikh and have never learnt and feel that it essential for me to do so.
I am a beginner but know some punjabi and I am wanting to learn conversationa l Punjabi as well as reading and writing.
I will be at university in September and I am looking at spending about 2-3 hours per week dedicated to these lessons.
I just want a patient teacher who is willing to help me persevere and not give up and encourage me as much as possible as i do have confidence issues.
