Hi there, I am a 22 year old about to start university studying international development and relations, and I am looking to learn Dari to supplement my studies and to increase the possibility of traveling with my career in the future.
I am on a budget, naturally as I am a student out of home, and would be interested in either larger classes with a more professional teacher, or an amateur/nativ e Dari speaker in exchange for help with English.
I am an absolute beginner so would be started from the basics.

Iv'e always Wanted to learn a second language, In Australia there is a large Persian population, I wanted to learn something that would challange me out of all the middle eastern languages Persian was the least harsh and has the most beautiful poetry from the region.

I am looking for a career in the field of international relations: specifically in the public service.
T o this end, I am learning other languages. I already have experience in Japanese, and wish to pick up proficiency in other languages.
I am most interested in languages that will set me apart from the pack, so to speak. While conversationa l language is of interest, my chief desire is to obtain reading skills, as these will be easier to practice when I travel abroad in the near future.
De pending on price, I am willing to partake in lessons for up to 3 hours a week. I would prefer a teacher that is a native speaker, and has prior experience teaching people of my ethnicity and age level.
I prefer lessons that are structured, and would like regular homework.
