I am a 35 year old Punjabi lady and have a daughter nearly 6 and both want to learn Hindi from scratch. I can speak Punjabi (better when I get a chance to practise so not so well right now!).

I am told that Hindi is easier to learn than Punjabi.
I have promised to re-visit my Indian friends in India, once I am able to hold a conversation with them.
I am therefore looking to understand the spoken language and in turn to speak relevant everyday vocabulary, enough to be understood and share our life experiences. I need this to be fun and therefore would like to be part of a small group of interested learners/part icipants such as a local evening or weekend class.
