I am interested in learning arabic because it is a beautiful language. I would like to learn the moroccan dialect of arabic because I will visit the country one day. My proficiency level in moroccan and arabic in general is of a beginner. I will need to learn pretty much everything but I do know many greetings, phrases and words. I am a very dedicated person and if I have the right tutor/teacher I will learn as much as possible. I am willing to devote as much time is needed to see the best results. Some of the qualities my teacher/tutor should have...she/he should be dedicated to teach me all the material needed for my success, patient and very knowledgable.

I will be traveling to Agadir in April.
I speak French, but when I was a young American growing up in Brazil, I promised myself I would always try to learn the mother tongue of my hosts BEFORE I go to their country (not a colonial language).
I need to restart at a beginner level and then advance from there.
I could spend about an hour per day from now until mid April.
I am an experienced language teacher myself (English, latin languages, Japanese and others). So all I need is a native speaker with a good education, who can also speak either English or French for the occasions when we need to communicate in another language besides Moroccan.
But, of course, language teaching experience is a plus!

i wish to learn these two languages to be able to speak to the people i would call my brothers and sisters and some other reasons i would only tell my teacher. i would say i am a beginner and and do need improvements in all categories of these two languages. time is something i dont know of yet. i just want my teacher to be thorough and patient. thank you
