Hi,
I am looking for private Cantonese lessons, 2-4hrs per week, preferably at lunch times. I have a basic level of spoken Cantonese and have taken the CUHK certificates up to Advanced level, but still feel some way from being conversationa lly fluent. I would be keen to chat to teachers who can offer a trial lesson, and who can put together a learning programme for somebody at my level (ie intermediate speaker).

I've been living/workin g in Hong Kong for 3yrs. Although my company uses English, I am very interested in learning conversationa l Cantonese. I've taken group lessons, but I feel they were not very useful. I would be interested in one-on-one lessons if that is possible. My schedule is pretty flexible and I'd like to dedicate a couple of hours a week and hopefully become more fluent in conversationa l Cantonese as soon as possible. I prefer a teacher that can teach me very practical Cantonese which locals use daily. The lessons I've learned were very textbook oriented and probably not the language locals would use (somewhat too formal). I prefer a female teacher and between the age of 30-45.
