I am a total beginner with no previous lessons. I have a few Cantonese speaking friends and would like to get to a standard to which i can hold a conversation with them.

Hello my name is julie i live in the north east of england,i wish to learn cantonese which will enable me to communicate with local people next time i visit hongkong.At this present time i do not speak cantonese and will be a complete beginner.I have always had an interest in chinese language having lived there many years ago.
I would like lessons two or three times a week preferably in the evening as i work full time.i will of course practise as i wish eventually to be able to speak cantenese fluently.

I am looking for a teacher of Cantonese in Hertfordshire or Cambridge areas. I speak very basic conversationa l Cantonese and would like to learn to speak and write.
I am also learning to sing in Cantonese, modern/cantop op (self taught from cds and books)If any music teachers would like to coach me I would also like to hear from you, as i need help with prounounciati on.
I am English so would prefer a teacher who has a good understanding of English. I am looking for around 2 - 3 hrs of tutoring a week, dependent on fees. I look forward to hearing from anyone that may be able to help me.
