The main reason of why I want to learn Cantonese is for my career advancement. My career currently deals with lots of Chinese speaker, mainly Cantonese I believe.
S econd reason is that I have been watching Cantonese dramas (TVB to be specific) since I was around 10. Somehow, listening someone speaking Cantonese makes me feels like I am returning to my hometown.
Although I have been watching Cantonese dramas for quite a long time, I cannot speak nor read Cantonese. I might understand a bit when someone speak Cantonese to me, but the chance for me to understand it is around 15%.
I am looking for someone who can teach, guide, and help me in mastering Cantonese. I am willing to travel and dedicate my time to learn Cantonese. My aim is to speak and write in Cantonese as fluent as my native language (Malay)

Hi there,
I am looking to improve my cantonese speaking skills. I have the very basic foundation for speaking cantonese but would like to improve significantly in my everyday conversationa l skills. I live in the downtown Toronto area and was hoping to have lessons at my apartment during the weekdays, any time after 5pm. I would also like to try and commit to lessons at least twice a week.

I really want to learn Cantonese and have done for the past year as I work with Cantonese speaking co-workers/fr iends, I would love to be able to communicate with all of my co-workers, it would also make work a lot easier! I'm in the process of saving to do my TEFL course as I plan to go to China and teach English so being able to communicate when I go over their would be amazing. I have never had lessons before so would be at beginner level but by the end of my lessons, hope to be able to hold a conversation fluently, thank you for taking the time to read my ad.
