I am a beginner who has just learned Arabic script.
I would like to learn Arabic to communicate with local Qataris and eventually to read Arabic literature and the Qur'an.
I am willing to dedicate several hours each week to language lessons.
I would like a native speaker who will be able to teach me practical usage as well as the grammatical structure of the language. I am willing to work hard, and would like an instructor who will push me, especially since I will only be in Qatar until May 2007.

I am a complete Beginner in Arabic, know a few phrases but that is all. I want to learn Arabic because it is important in order to live and work in Doha, which I intend to do. I would like to attend classes say once or twice a week. I would like to have a teacher who can deal with beginners. I am interested in developing a good vocabulary and grammar as well.
