I am very much wanting to learn Spanish. I wish to learn the language as I feel it will be beneficial when I travel and I feel I need the challenge. As an absolute beginner I am a little apprehensive about mastering the task, but intend to devote the time and attention to try and achieve the best result possible.

I have No Spanish skills. I want to learn latin American Spanish as i will will be travelling to South America for 6 months next year
I will be able to dedicate one hour a week, for up to a year
I will not be the only person studying. there will be a possibility of two other people

I completed a beginner course and one after that back in 2003 but have not studied spanish since and really want to keep it up and learn more! I would like to try once a week one hour lessons and see how I go. I just have a love for the language and sometimes travel to Costa Rica and other countries.
I n am looking for a patient teacher who wants to show me the basics and not put me on the spot.
